New Youth Group Program - A New Language for a New Generation: Teens are facing unique challenges in our culture today. These challenges, especially those concerning sexuality and human and divine love, deserve more than the outdated “do this, don’t do that” approach to catechesis. Today’s challenges need to be addressed with a “new language” that explains how authentic Christianity makes sense because it corresponds perfectly with the deepest desires of the human heart. Theology of the Body for Teens is an exciting and dynamic program based on Pope John Paul II’s revolutionary Theology of the Body and is being offered to high school teens at Holy Redeemer. This program will give teens the answers and the tools they need to successfully and safely navigate through life. The program will be held weekly on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 beginning Feb. 5. Fellowship time will begin at 6:30 p.m. The cost will be $12 for the student workbook. Please contact our director of religious education (DRE) by Fri., Jan. 31 to order a student workbook for your youth. The payment may be made at the first meeting on Wed., Feb. 5. Parents may also order a parent's guide ($6) and watch on overview of the program. Contact our DRE if you are interested in either.
